ok bout the pics so far i have 2 people guessing and they r right so far... wat about the rest of the pics... i m sure sumone can guess who they are... look at the clothes they are wearing... it is really obvious one leh...

anyway im gonna leave for a few more days or weeks? haha... when, i have the time i will post the pictures with faces this timE! when i free la... when i free! cos i have a feeling march is gonna be super busy for me! which i m more than happy about! weeeeeee

fun day today...

hey evryone, guess ive not blog anything bout my interview yet huh? well, i thot it went pretty well, cos the manager tht interviewed me was really nice and friendly... so, it went pretty well, and i did manage to be myself and tell her bout my previous job and school life.

it was quite good really and the next 2 days i went for a OJE(oversee job experience) where, i work there for 2 hrs and try on making coffee, serving and cleaning and all those job if i were to work there... i thot it went pretty well, she told me tht the feedback she got from the crew was tht i was friendly and taking iniative and stuff... then again, of course shes gonna say sumthin good bout it right? well, i do hope i did well enough tho.

it does seems like a good place to work and make friends... hehe... erm, i had my first coffee tasting as well... i tasted this fair trade coffee and i kinda forget the whole story into it... but anyway, the girl tht did the tasting with me, is the district coffee lady... she knows her coffee and she knows it dang well... lol... i was so nervous when she asked me how the coffee tasted! haha... i jst said it taste fresh and genuine as no sugar nor milk was added yet! thts all i can say bout coffee tasting for now! haha...

tht particular starbucks seems to be one of the busiest i think! i was there lunch time and its like non-stop customer pouring in and out... which is good i guess... then also, i made my first frappucinos... or rather a few... haha... jen the coffee master let me make a few frap on my own and i was like... wow, cool... and thnk gawd i was slow but it was pretty well i think... hehe...

and then bfore OJE, i was at this recruitment centre place doing workshops for cv writing, work placement and confidence building kinda thing... i thot it was very interesting... i met 2 people there, Liz and David. then, the person tht did it with us was Andy... i was amazed really... the 2 hours we talked there, andy and sue (my advisor) quickly got me 2 contact numbers to call for possible placement in accountancy... and i was like really woweedd cos thts pretty fast! hehe... alil about liz and david, liz has a degree in fashion photography and shes goin to new york to do pictures and all, and andy suggested she try to send cv to this bollywood award thing which is gonna be held in yorkshire... i thot tht was really interesting and how quick they can refer us to so many places for work and stuff...

then, david did a degree in health service and plans to go into health promotion... which he started elaborating bout it and evrything... i thot it was interesting too, as not only he trying to get a job in health service side, but atm he is working as a dj and all those promotions in clubs and stuff... hm, which i thot it really did amaze me like how diverse he can be in his path towards his future tht he is setting for himself!

so yep, i met 2 interesting people today and the best part is we went for a quick coffee in starbucks after the workshop but i had to leave early for the OJE! but we r planning to meet for a drink and chat soon. so hope all goes well, and i m happy i made more friends...

starbucks... starbucks...

well, it says it on in the title... i have a job interview on monday with starbucks! yay! its all thnks to the help of my friends... adam and mauricio. its quite fast i got a reply... i hand in my application form on wed... the manager called me on fri for an interview on mon! woohoo... i think im no longer jobless... yay for me!!! hehe...

erm, also i was out in town the other night... thursday night i think... i met another couple of new friends... which is all good... it was a fun night out really... at first i was quite skeptical, as i dont know many mates from cinema... but they were all so friendly and nice people... so i get along pretty well with them... we dance all night and had a couple of drinks... not me! but anyway, my friend and i was on the stage dancing and we won a bottle of champagne! how random it was!!! lol... but it was all fun! lol...

so u guys... whos nice enough to read my blog please please pray for me k... errr, as in for my job laa... hope i get it laa...

job hunt...

errr... errr... btw laa, im still jobless lor... to count it, actually ive lost out in a chance to earn some pounds... its all my fault laaa... cos i was too lazy to search for a job...

no excuses of all sorts... my fault for not searchin for a job...

but anyhow, now i need a part time job again... erm, i applied for barista job in starbucks, costa and caffe nero... 3 cafe places... seems quite cool, especially ppl from starbucks... i have a friend tht works there, he invited me for dinner with them... and it seems to be a cool place to work... so hopefully i get a reply from them sumtime soon lor... pray for me please pretty please!!!

and lastly, tmw i need to get up early to go to town and go to this place tht helps students or ppl search for a job, write cv and train on interview and stuff... seems quite cool too... so hopefully i get sum tips on how to apply for internship and improve my cv laa...

sigh another sore subject... i got my results lor... and im jinxed! i did 3 papers and failed 2... i was short of 8 and 4 marks... sigh... so upsetting ya know... but truthfully, no argument... acca is never easy laa... especially the audit paper and taxation... the 2 papers tht i failed... well, i had a friend failed 5 times the same audit paper... i got 42 marks... so after all, im not too bad ah... need to study harder lor...

Chinese New Year!

hello all... hope evryone is still having a good time during this fun time... aka cny! well, its a bit late, but finally we had our "tuen yuen fan", our dinner on new year's eve. Well, its super good man!!! we had fish! duck! chicken! mushroom! soup! pork! vege! wow... i think we had evrything except the last dish dessert! lol...

well, one bad thing happened was tht my mum by accident cut her finger nail... and its like half chopped... eek... gross... lol... it was 2sumthin pm... and i was still in bed! yes i was still in bed! haha... anyway, she came up stairs called out for my bro to say she cut her finger... instantly i got worried and woke up...

sigh, tht tells u try to focus on one thing and not multi task! lol... well, cos she was cutting chilllies and was talkin to my dad... well, it look painful... so hope its ok...

but anyway, my bro gf in the end helped my mum to prepare sum of the dishes. but overall, it was my mum alone tht prepared it all! by herself! can u believe tht! yes she did it on her own! haha... awesome...

there was 13 of us had dinner here! so it was quite lifely and crowded in such a small house! but over all its all good ah... so happy...

but not much, ang pau tho... i miss chinese new year with lotsa angpau... haha...

my aunt's condition...

hm... one more thing, i thot i will jst update it here... thnks u guys for praying for my aunt... well, shes out of the hospital for now... so i wanna thank you guys for the prayers and im sure it worked... which i m very happy with...

then i got to know tht 1 more cousin in my family got saved as welll... apparently she starts to attend church and believe in christ. according to her, lifes been goin much better off for her ever since she accepted christ. im happy for her, and how her life turns out much better... hehe...

job hunting...

ive been out of job for 2 months now... how time flies eh?!?! annoying-nya to be out of job and i hate it tht the fact im not earning any cash when im here... i hate it hate it hate it... i hate myself! grrr...

anyway, ive tried applying for a job as a barista in starbucks and costa... then i applied for a part-time as sales assistant in a clothes shop called free spirit... well, they sell loads of quiksilver, billabong and animal... which i love love love... but i think the people working there are too hip and happening for me to blend in and work with... haha...

otherwise, i would say i wont be hired! haha... well, i m still wondering where else shud i apply for a job... still out of job which sucks... get a job get a job get a job!!!

anyone, has any idea where i shud apply for a part time job! grrrrrrrr.....

not only im the 3rd child, i come in 3rd place

well, evryone keeps asking me, why arent u close to your family... ppl tells me tht wateva problems i have i can always rely on my family... but im second guessing myself if thts true.

if you know me well, you will know tht i was never close to my family. its not tht i never try to but i did try and its always unsuccessful. now more than ever, ive jst plainly given up hope in trying. it jst sumhow feels, if you are not contributing to the family in cash wise, you've got no say in things and you are not loved more...

at least its how i feel with my mum nowadays. evryone in the family tells me tht i was always the one loved most by my mum and now i ask myself if it was really true. id always thot my mum loved us all the same but ever since i came here, the connection was never the same anymore.

i lost them for 2 yrs when they came here to work, when i come here, things jst dont feel the same anymore. bfore i came here when i was in msia, i thot i need them more than ever but ever since i came here, i dont know if i truly need them. sigh... its a long story and evry has their own family problems... but at the mo, im jst tired to try to figure this whole thing out.

sigh, im keeping quiet for now, and jst be a loner in the family... hope things will turn out better for me...

hello hello!!! i dont know if my blog is still visited... anyway, im back! haha... well, ive been absent for so long is mainly bcos nothin much been happenin in my life that i can really share on blog... for sure things happened, but sum are jst too personal to share...

but anyway, here alil update about me... well, ive left my last job in the cinema... i loved the people and the job but not the management... things happened and i jst dont feel good being undermine the way i was... and thats why i cant continue to work there... so yep, ive quit the job. then, some how things starts to go down south. evrything jst dont seem to be in the right place and things arent seeem to be moving at the direction tht i was hoping for... plus, when i left the job i din know i was leaving my friends as well...

haha but there are still a few more that im in contact with which is good...

anyway, jst yday i met up with an old fren from work and his friends. we had dinner in this indian restaurant... it was brilliant... the food is so good and the people was nice. i met this married couple, guy from costa rica and girl from hungary. both seems to be nice people and had a wonderful chat with them.

now, it makes me feel like working in starbucks even more! lol... well, at least i applied to get a part time job in starbucks... still waiting for replies... i hope i get it tho... wish me luck! grr... hehe...
